More than 3.8m in Forbearance, 7.3% of All Mortgages
As of May 1, Black Knight has found that more than 3.8 million homeowners are in forbearance programs with their lenders. Together, this represents 7.3% of the entire active mortgage universe and $841 billion in unpaid principal.
