Meet Adam Hall, MDK's Bankruptcy Practice Group Director, whose career is seamlessly woven together by a combination of leadership, legal expertise, and an unwavering commitment to clients. In Adam's insightful words, he emphasizes, "The common thread is a combination of leadership, legal expertise, and a commitment to advocating for my clients’ interests. My role requires me to be consistently engaged in strategic thinking, legal analysis, and working with and guiding a team of attorneys and staff."

Adam’s core specialty lies in bankruptcy law, forming the cornerstone of his professional work. "My focus is using bankruptcy law, along with my problem-solving skills, to find ways to more efficiently help our clients reach their goals," he says. This commitment extends beyond his clients, as Adam also aspires to contribute to the professional growth of his team members and others at MDK.

As Practice Group Director, Adam leads the Bankruptcy team in shaping legal strategies and mentoring attorneys to develop their expertise and judgment. He works closely with Operations and Compliance teams to improve processes, address risk factors, and build stronger support structures for the team’s legal work. Adam helps ensure that the team’s casework meets the highest standards of quality and compliance, while also staying attuned to client priorities and evolving needs. His role involves working collaboratively with colleagues across MDK’s practice areas to share knowledge and align on best practices for client service.

Adam’s greatest strengths lie in his receptiveness to ideas and strategies from others, fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement. He actively engages with team members, recognizing their invaluable input in guiding MDK’s efficiency. His journey at MDK, which began in 2012 as a staff attorney, reflects a trajectory of growth and advancement, from a judgment department role to leading the Illinois team and eventually transitioning to the bankruptcy department in 2015.

Beyond the legal realm, Adam is not just an accomplished attorney but a well-rounded individual. He volunteers as a coach in ice hockey and football, serves as a volunteer ski patroller at Mad River Mountain, and actively participates in his church, showcasing his commitment to community engagement and work-life balance. Adam Hall is not just a legal professional; he is a dedicated leader, problem-solver, and advocate for clients, embodying the values of MDK in his every endeavor.
