From the courtroom to case management, Ed Qaqish connects big-picture strategy with day-to-day execution—always focused on what matters most to the client.
Steady-handed, sharp-minded, and purpose-driven, Edward (Ed) Qaqish brings precision and follow-through to every case he handles. He serves as Of Counsel at MDK, managing foreclosure litigation and eviction matters throughout Pennsylvania with a focus on diligence, responsiveness, and steady case progression. Based in Reading, Ed supports clients across the surrounding counties and is admitted to practice in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
“At MDK, our mission is to create uncommon paths to success. Working with Meredith Wooters and the Pennsylvania team, we’re committed to more than just following routine—we’re constantly looking for ways to improve and approach each case with fresh, individualized perspective.”
Ed takes a grounded and dependable approach to legal work. “When something comes across my desk, I handle it promptly,” he says. “Clients don’t want a lot of back and forth. They want to know things are getting done—efficiently and accurately.” At MDK, he oversees the full life cycle of foreclosure files: reviewing case documents, preparing pleadings, coordinating filings, and representing clients in court.
His approach is guided by a strong sense of purpose. “My role is to move the client’s portfolio forward with integrity and intention,” he says. “Our work touches people’s lives, and that’s something I never take lightly. I want every client to know they’re in capable, respectful hands.”
In addition to his work at MDK, Ed owns and operates his own law firm, The Law Office of E. Edward Qaqish. Over the course of his career, he has represented hundreds of clients in courtrooms across Pennsylvania, with a strong focus on criminal defense. His experience spans minor offenses, serious felonies, and civil litigation. That breadth continues to shape his work today, bringing a strategic lens and full-picture thinking to every matter in his MDK portfolio.
Ed earned his J.D. from Widener University Commonwealth Law School, graduating cum laude as a Widener Merit Scholar and serving as an internal editor of the Widener Law Journal. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from Kutztown University. Ed is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and has been widely recognized for his achievements, including being named a “Top 40 Under 40” Criminal Law Attorney by the American Society of Legal Advocates, a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers Magazine from 2019-2025, and receiving the Client’s Choice Award from Avvo.com.
Outside of work, Ed enjoys spending time with his wife and their daughter—with a second child on the way. A proud father, he values family time above all. Ed also finds balance through fishing and quiet moments in nature.
