As an attorney based in MDK’s Cleveland office, Jessica Johnson brings a strategic, client-focused mindset to default foreclosure and financial services litigation. Known for her creativity, efficiency, and strong communication skills, she keeps clients informed throughout the legal process while staying focused on the outcome that matters most.

“I believe communication is one of the most important parts of my job,” Jessica says. “Whether it’s a straightforward case or something more complex, I make sure clients know what’s happening, what to expect, and how we’re working to reach the best resolution.”

Jessica’s appellate experience includes drafting numerous briefs and handling oral arguments. This work draws on her ability to think critically and advocate persuasively. She enjoys problem-solving and collaborating with colleagues to find solutions that move cases forward with precision and purpose.

Jessica’s interest in litigation took root during law school, when she began clerking at a creditors’ rights firm. “I always knew I wanted to be in the courtroom,” she explains. “That early experience showed me how dynamic and challenging this field can be—and I’ve never looked back.”

Outside the office, Jessica enjoys traveling to Walt Disney World with her husband and two boys and making lasting memories as a family.
