Since joining MDK in 2006, Beth Nieman has grown into a central connector between clients, colleagues, and the firm’s broader goals. As Client Development & Marketing Manager, she leads a skilled team dedicated to strengthening client relationships, anticipating needs, and creating opportunities to expand MDK’s market presence. She approaches her work with a balance of strategy and collaboration, ensuring initiatives align with client priorities and the firm’s long-term goals.

Her days are a dynamic mix of meetings with her team, collaborating with leadership, reviewing client portfolios, developing outreach strategies, and organizing client trainings, among other responsibilities. This variety keeps her closely connected to both the operational and client-facing sides of the business, allowing her to spot opportunities and address challenges proactively. She also represents MDK at industry conferences including the Legal Marketing Association, the Mortgage Bankers Association, the American Legal and Financial Network, ARDA, and Five Star, keeping the firm engaged and visible within the legal and financial services communities.

Beth’s tenure at MDK reflects a steady path of growth and versatility. She began her career in the Judgment, First Legal, and Title departments, later serving as Assistant Manager over Assignments/Allonges and as Manager of the Original Documents department before stepping into her current role. Along the way, she has built strong rapport with clients, building trust through clear communication and consistent, attentive service.

Her approach to client service is rooted in empathy and action. “Great client service to me means treating clients the same way I’d want to be treated, by listening closely to their needs and pain points, then turning that into meaningful action,” Beth says. She pairs clear, thorough communication with a genuine awareness that what may seem minor internally can hold significant weight for a client. This mindset, combined with her focus on timely, thoughtful responses, has made her a trusted partner for clients and colleagues alike.

Beth also sees MDK’s culture of innovation as a defining advantage. “We don’t just adapt to change, we drive it,” she explains. By refining processes and leveraging technology, she helps create space for the team to focus on tackling complex challenges and delivering exceptional results. She lives MDK’s values daily, bringing creativity to process improvements, engagement to problem-solving, respect to every interaction, advancement to both people and systems, and collaboration to all facets of her work.

Beyond her role, Beth is an active contributor to MDK’s culture and community engagement. She has taken part in numerous Besa volunteer events, serves on the board of the Delaware Arts Festival Association, and has been involved in firm initiatives such as the Culture Council and organizing the firm’s Pride celebration. Beth also mentors colleagues through MDK’s mentorship program and participates in the women’s group and book club, finding meaningful ways to connect with and support her colleagues.

Beth holds a B.A. in Broadcasting Management/Sales from Cedarville University, with minors in Organizational Communications, Marketing, and Bible. While there, she was a member of Cedarville Partners, Gamma Chi, and served as Promotions Director and staff member at the school’s radio station. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, building Lego sets with her husband, exploring nature, spending time with her cats, discovering local spots, and watching bad horror movies.
