As Director of Business Development at MDK, Brittany Anderson plays a central role in driving the firm’s growth. She leads new business initiatives, stewards prospective client relationships, and ensures that marketing and branding efforts align with strategic goals. Whether she’s building pitch decks, developing sales pipelines, or collaborating with leadership on firmwide innovation, Brittany brings clarity, structure, and forward momentum to every initiative.

At the heart of Brittany’s approach is a deep belief in partnership. “I use the Interview, Educate, Recommend framework,” she explains. “That means taking the time to understand each client’s world, helping them see what’s possible, and offering solutions tailored to their needs.” Her consultative mindset positions MDK as more than a vendor. It elevates the firm as a trusted advisor and long-term ally. She’s known for her curiosity, adaptability, and emotional intelligence, as well as her collaborative mindset. “You can’t do this job alone. The best ideas come from listening, asking the right questions, and building momentum together.”

Brittany’s career at MDK has been defined by growth, both for the firm and for herself. She joined MDK in 2010 as a legal assistant and soon found her calling in the client-facing side of the business. Every position she’s held since has been a brand-new role, created to meet emerging needs and shaped by her vision. Her ability to open new doors is proven. She helped secure new clients, introduced a firmwide sales pipeline with BANT criteria, and expanded MDK’s footprint through strategic outreach and relationship-building.

Her journey briefly took her to a legal tech startup, but she returned to MDK in 2023 with fresh perspective and renewed drive. “That experience reminded me how important it is to have a clear value proposition and the ability to deliver on what you promise.” Today, Brittany continues to deliver, working alongside the Executive Director of Relationship Management and the Client Development & Marketing Manager to propel MDK’s growth.

Outside of work, Brittany leads the firm’s Culture Council, actively volunteers through MDK’s Besa partnership, and has a passion for food, books, and global travel. She’s a proud cat mom to Mabel and runs a side business as a travel advisor with Fora. “Planning trips is one of my favorite things to do,” she says. “It taps into the same skills I use at MDK: listening, customizing, and making sure every detail supports the bigger vision.”
