Stephanie Reinhart-Rock, MDK’s Practice Group Director for Indiana and Kentucky, exemplifies a compassionate leader with a passion for building better processes, relationships, and business outcomes. “I am an optimistic person who has always found value and joy in any job I do; however, since the firm transitioned to an agile model, I have found true passion in building things. From building better processes to cultivating relationships with employees and clients, to building business; I love the feeling of turning individual pieces of information into better outcomes for both MDK and our clients,” she shares.
Stephanie leads the Indiana and Kentucky legal teams with a focus on developing attorney skills, refining case strategies, and helping her team deliver legal solutions that meet client needs. She works closely with Operations and Compliance to streamline processes, address risk, and ensure the team’s work is efficient and compliant. Stephanie plays an active role in shaping the practice’s performance, regularly reviewing workflows and collaborating with colleagues across the firm to share ideas and improve outcomes.
With nearly two decades in default services, Stephanie has built a career marked by leadership, resilience, and a practical approach to problem-solving. She specializes in residential mortgage default services, overseeing foreclosure prosecution and litigation defense across both states. Since joining MDK in 2010, she has opened the firm’s Indiana office, progressed from Associate Attorney to Managing Attorney, and earned recognition from Best Lawyers for Mortgage Banking Foreclosure Law.
Stephanie is also an active voice in the legal community, contributing to MDK’s blog, the MDK News Break, serving on the Government Affairs Committee for the Indiana Land Title Association, and volunteering with the Hospice Pro Bono Program. She finds fulfillment in fostering engagement on her team, believing that when people are truly connected to their work, they bring out their best.
Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, cooking, exploring nature, and sharing laughs with friends around a bonfire.
